Amethyst_witch asked me to send some pics of the birds that visit the garden. I have to admit that except for a single crow and a magpie I haven't seen any birds the last five days. I think they're all in hiding. There are a few pigeon-fanciers in the neighbourhood, but they don't allow their pigeons outside either. Even Max, who's usually blisfully asleep on his cushion in the livingroom, is a bit intimidated by al this blustering and blowing violence of the wind outside. He insists on lying on my feet, and when that's not possible he sticks to my leg as if he's attached with glue.
The tulips, that had been growing so well, have stopped. I can't blame them. If I were them I'd try to get back into the earth :-)
I've discorvered a few strawberry plants in the border. They're very small, but with a bit of luck I might be able to have one or two strawberries this year !
